DAF 106 control unit – Relocation of control buttons for truck conversion
As part of a DAF XF 106 vehicle conversion, it is often necessary to relocate the control buttons originally located on the original switch panel. This operation allows the controls to be integrated into a location that is more accessible or better suited to the installed equipment.
✅ Conclusion
Relocating control buttons on a DAF XF 106 truck is a common procedure during a conversion or specific bodywork modification. It enables more ergonomic use of auxiliary functions while maintaining the reliability of the electronic system. Correct integration, using dedicated modules and appropriate programming, ensures full compatibility with the vehicle's central control unit.
